A few days ago, *racingwolf's dearly loved rat, Penny, died. R.I.P., Penny. You were a very pretty rat.

I drew this in memory of Penny, and as a gift to Scy (Racingwolf). YES IT TOOK ME DAYS OKAY. Dx It would have been useful to have gotten it finished earlier, but I'm just not that fast. xD Plus I'm really rusty; I basically drew nothing all of last year (as you can tell by the sight of my gallery), but anyway. I don't care. xD I wanted to draw this for you, Scy, to show you that I definitely want to honour her memory and be there for you!

I know that
a) In my picture Penny looks more like a mouse than a rat
b) Scy's eyes are weird and stupidly shaped
c) The styles differ between Penny, Scy-Umbreon and the backgrounds... XD
d) I'm aware that it's a bigly lazy and dumb background. xD

Etc. But anyway. I'll stop complaining now. XD I hope you like it!

And this was why I took forever yesterday to edit SoR's freewriting and what I was drawing during Robots. XD

You're welcome. I can imagine, pets really do become part of the family; heck, remember my new pet hamster I mentioned in my journal? He is not the first hamster I've owned, before him I had another hamster named Chewy. I was basically the only person who actually got attached to her (mom hates rodents, dad doesn't care much about them, and my brothers, while caring, could be a little aggressive when handling her), and when she died I was really depressed for a few days... yeah, I know I sound stupid, but I actually missed Chewy making noise in her running wheel at night; I felt kinda lonely... I hope Scy gets better

They really do. ;~; Yeah. o: Aw, cute! (That's not good. Dx But I'm glad she had you!) No kidding... ;-; Yesterday my friend's dog died, and... I only knew her about a year, but it'll be weird going to her house and not seeing the dog around. >.< And even weirder for her and her family, since Brandi was an inside dog and would always be there. It's just...terrible when a pet died. ;~;

I think she's better now. We've had lots of fun story writing sessions (and that iScribbling we did the other day XD) so that's good.
